Had a great evening at Shally’s house. While the girls went out to dinner to celebrate Jasmine’s birthday, we boys hung out at home with the kids. Then, after the girls came back, Jasmine cut the cake amidst wishes and gifts. Then after few of the friends left, we hung out with Shally, Venkatesh, Shubha and Meenakshi till 5am chatting about life in general.

First day of the year 2011

After a fun filled New Year party at a friend’s house, we hit the bed at 5 am. Getting up after noon was tough but rest of the day turned out to be fun. Shally, Venkatesh and Sohum came over. Sohum and Riya had so much fun playing on the computer, while we watched a horrible retro Hindi movie - Action Replay. It is a horrible remake of Back to the Future. But, seeing the kids play together made us happy. And, I finished tucking away the holiday decorations as well. Three cheers to a day well spent. Welcome, 2011.
